Aim. To investigate the level of tolerance to water deficit seed generations (T1 and T4) genetically modified winter wheat with partially suppressed expression proline dehydrogenase gene (ProDH) based on analysis physiological biochemical indicators economic characteristics plants. Methods. Determination crop structure content free L-proline (Pro). Results. The Pro was studied main elements productivity in offspring transgenic plants their original forms under normal insufficient supply were analyzed. Conclusions. T1 T4 biotechnological normal/stress conditions accumulated more than genotypes. this amino acid seedlings optimal cultivation exceeded initial by an average 1.8 times. Under influence deficit, its increased 2.2 2.3 times, relation supply. In non-transgenic variants, Pro, similar growing conditions, lower 1.9 2.0 compared regime, analyzed variants did not differ significantly terms productivity. Drought led decrease, but characterized a less pronounced difference, as well higher yield.
